Career Counselling

Because your work should mean something
At Redhouse Psychological Solutions we believe that your career is not just about making a living - it’s about finding a path that feels aligned, meaningful, and sustainable. Whether you're starting out, burned out, or transitioning after a well needed (or thrust upon you) change, we’re here to help you navigate your vocational questions with depth, clarity, and purpose.
The world of work is changing rapidly and the career advice you got back in high school may have expired by now. In the 21st century we live in a knowledge economy but that doesn’t mean that you need a university degree to get work. While post-secondary training is always something to consider, you need to focus on learning how to do something that the labour market needs done, that you can find pride in doing.

What we help with
We support individuals who have questions like:
-
What should I do with my life?
-
How do I change careers without starting from scratch?
-
Why do I feel stuck or lost at work?
-
Should I go back to school?
-
How do I balance meaning, income, and values?
-
Can I reinvent myself after a setback or failure?
-
What can I do with my time now that I’m retired?

Whether you’re starting out in your 20s or wrapping things up in your 60s, career planning is more than just finding a job. It’s finding purpose in what you do on a daily basis.

Our Approach
Career planning is difficult because it involves dreaming big but also finding a realistic path and plan. Many people either get caught up in unrealistic dreams that fail to come to fruition or they are frozen by a lack of dreams or ambition and end up taking job after job that doesn’t work out. There is a way to tap into dreams and desires for motivation and then make realistic and meaningful plans, this is what we do.
Some people also choose to participate in our Start Something Groups to gain from a peer group of people who are positive and motivated.
How We Work
We believe that every healing journey is unique — and so is our approach. Our process is designed to make you feel comfortable, heard, and supported at every step.
